Lots going on ...

So last Friday I had a Dr. appt, and after almost four years now I walked out with a scrip. for Clomid (ovulation enhancer/increaser).  Can't say that it wasn't a huge relief to know that this Dr didn't just try to "make me healthier", he simply agreed and said lets try it and if it doesn't work we'll try something else.  He also relieved a concern I had about an ongoing issue I had been having mid-cycle, saying it wasn't something to concern myself about and to ignore it.

Ok. *sigh*

The weather has been simply gorgeous.  Our usual spring 'tells' are here.  The Killdeer are everywhere.  The Red-wing blackbirds have arrived as well!  Robins have been back for almost two months now.

Blitz has G-R-O-W-N.  He is a hefty, solid, sound 50+ pounds, with little excess anywhere on his lean body.  Once the worst of the mud subsides (and the snow melts - gosh there is a LOT of it to melt! but with the lovely weather it is going fast) we'll be out and getting more exercise, and he'll become even leaner and more muscular. I am excited to introduce him to agility, and that will of course be something he'll excell at!

Our 7th anniversary came and went with celebration and to-do.  It is hard to believe that my best friend in the whole world is my husband and that we've been together only 7 years - feels like an age, and yet it feels like our journey is only begun!!

My b'day came and went like a whisper.  It was so nice to not have a lot made of it, a small acknowledgement of the day, the age, and then it was over.

Made awesome Chocolate Chip Oatmeal cookies yesterday, (with mom), and we drizzled a sweet-coffee icing onto some of them.  Honestly that icing made them oh so much better than they were plain, and plain they're divine!  Should take some pics and post the recipe here and on FB.

Change is in the air once more, and I'm excited to find out what that is going to mean for us!

Oh, and DH has finally consented to get a piano and bring it into our home!  VERY exciting!!  He has needed one since we got married, and though we won't be able to afford the one that is top-of-the-line, I think we can find one that is of a good enough quality he'll play it, practice on it, and enjoy using it.  I can't wait!!

Off to make dinner ... whatever that is going to be tonight ... still haven't decided, and hoping to make something simple, and easy on the gut - after over a week of stomach issues (started as the flu? perhaps??).
